A working painter, still at the easel.

Forty-six years after the first lead-type setting in his father's print house in Paris, Yoel still begins each work the same way — at the canvas, with light from a single window, in a room cut from Tzfat stone.

Autodidact: artist, writer, designer, music composer. Born Paris 1960. Lives in Israel since 1989. Married, with children and grandchildren.

2012 – 2022 — art exhibitions in Tel Aviv, Safed (Tzfat), Jerusalem, Paris, New York
2021 → today — publishing artworks on social networks. 613 works published, with 7 million visitors, 700,000+ likes, 80,000+ comments
2008 – 2010 — high school academy consultant for Government Sciences and Technology; rewrote the Art and Design study program for Orthodox high schools; appointed national design controller for final projects
2002 – 2008 — local newspaper revolution: redesigned the entire advertising sector
From 1979 — typographer apprentice in family print house in France; lived the print evolution from lead type → offset films → plate making
